I forgot to mention that I replaced the HDD with an SSD OCZ Vertex4 256GB, after update the BIOS and the firmware of SSD, the laptop is ridiculously fast!

Glad to know that you’ve found my ramblings useful! I originally wanted to go for a SSD as well, but personally I’d rather wait for SSDs to drop in price some more before splurging on them. Aside from somewhat slow bootup times though, this laptop is pretty fast even with a HDD.

I hadn’t time to work configuring sd and 3d graphics… with debian wheezy they don’t work at the first run! but all is because I’ve no time…

absolutely not! should be only question of working a bit on it (i didn’t tested ubuntu, suse and so on)… and sharing your solution 🙂 Working on this was in my priority… I don’t need 3d! I need processor (compiling)… y in the next future gpu too.

Debian should work fine on that laptop, but I recommend using testing/sid instead. You can fetch a newer kernel from backports, sure, but not a up-to-date userland, e.g. X and mesa.
